[原创]英语日记*2 Winter vacation
This year’s winter vacation will be soon finished. Every day is common for me. Nothing is exciting, nothing is new. Many friends feel the same way.
This is my normal life:
2 o’clock – 11 o’clock: sleeping;
11 o’clock – 13 o’clock: washing, cooking, eating, watching animation;
13 o’clock – 16 o’clock: reading & replying topics in forum, playing NBA 2005, reading IT news, recording songs sometimes
16 o’clock – 23 o’clock: doing homework, listening to music
23 o’clock – 2 o’clock (the next day): playing computer
As you can see from the upper list, my life is in confusion. I’m getting fatter and fatter as my face is more round than before. My only have a little physical strength. It’s hard for me to run 10 minutes without stop. In fact, I have a strong desire for playing basketball, but there is no basketball ground nearby. There used to be a basketball ground which was near my grandfather’s home, but it is broken now. The basket is acclivitous. The ball that I bought at Yintai is still brand –new.
In lunar New Year, money is the best present for most of the children. Luckily, my birthday is at the day before the New Year's Eve, so I got extra money. During the week of New Year, it got 1100 RMB totally. It’s less than last year, but I’m still happy. The money I got last year still remains. I don’t have to worry about my pin money for a time and I’m not urgent in expenditure.
In the end, I find that this article is a bit like a summary but not diary.
My interest in the vacation
Though my life seemed boring, I ‘researched’ something for interest.
I didn’t know much about NBA although I play basketball well, because I just play it for entertainment. Recently, I found NBA really interesting. I became to read news about NBA and know some information about roster. I also learned some proper noun of basket. In the last semester, I hold some matches of junior basketball competition, but I didn’t judged well as some audience shouted ‘black whistle!’ It was an embarrassing time for an umpire. I decided to learn the detailed rule of basketball and have already studied the bases. Chinese teacher wanted us to read a book of biography. I chose Yaoming’s story and was fond it.
I like listening to music. Recently, I found singing is also enjoyable. My skill of singing is too bad even myself don’t wanna hear it! But these cannot cool down my passion. I continued recording my songs and put them on the internet. To my surprise, some e-pal said that ’not bad’ or ‘cool!’ Of course, most of the e-pal just encouraged me. I hope that I can offer a good song some day. By the way, I learned a software called Audition which could mix audio. I did like that soft, professional but not complex. One of my friends told me that she liked my rap songs, so I decided to ‘sing’ more rap songs but not love songs. In fact, I think some rap songs are quilt nice: strong rhythm with a fully rhymed lyric. I think pop is very vulgar.
I also spent a little time to learn Japanese modern culture, net novel and other things. This is a wide world. I want to study many things, but I’m still a senior student which faces college exam. Maybe I can learn something that I’m interested in during the time of university.
